There are many approaches to delivering best practices and through research and experience you might find that some approaches may contradict each other or that some are outdated or no longer useful.

The Teaching Toolkit will provide you with the latest and easy to use tools to deliver a strategically aligned yoga class connected to your values, improving the class experience and sparking passion and focus throughout your students. We’ll explore various techniques, strategies and concepts for you to master the art of teaching and throw out the tools you’ve used in the past that may no longer be satisfying the yoga and movement industry’s current standards.

  • Apply up-to-date techniques for cueing in a yoga class, including verbal cues, physical demonstrations, and effective communication with students.

  • Evaluate and understand the importance of contradicting cueing and teaching styles in order to adapt and meet the individual preferences and learning styles of students.

  • Utilize inclusive language when teaching yoga classes to create a supportive and empowering atmosphere for all participants.

  • Integrate the principles of practice for teaching a yoga class that align with the current standards and best practices in the yoga industry, promoting professionalism and excellence in instruction.
