In our life we experience the effects of the constant changes and movements of events, circumstances and obstacles unfolding in front of us. If one were to be constantly ruffled and affected by each complex movement, we’d constantly be falling from our feet to the ground, experiencing deeper wounds each time. Being easily stirred by unplanned realizations of life’s advancement is as if an extreme gust of wind was ever-pushing into us as we try to step forward. Even though this might sound extreme, we might actually be falling into this way of going about our life. Consider how you react to unexpected events whether they are positive or negative. Do you usually have an automatic reaction? Do you avoid the negative and grasp tightly onto the positive?
Living yoga is learning how to navigate the flow of life and being resilient against its challenges. It’s finding balance between stability and surrender and learning how to use each of these concepts at the right moments in time. Living yoga can teach us to vigorously flow through challenges and to gracefully float through the joys of life.
