Alternatively, if you prefer only 2-4 workouts per week, but new options every week (instead of repeating the same workout), this option could suit you best. Repeating workouts is recommended programming in order to progressively build strength.

    Some examples you might see from this class:

    • Plank Challenge: Progressing a plank hold (each time, see if you can hold longer)

    • Push Up Challenge: Progressing your push ups (each time, see if you can add a rep or find more depth)

Part-Time Monthly Workouts:

Workouts include body weight exercises, the use of dumbbells and a block. The Part-Time option is ideal if you have a busy schedule, or if you’re doing other workouts/activities outside of this program. If you’re new to programming, it could be beneficial to start with a part-time commitment, before a full-time commitment.

Sydney Mayer

Hi everyone! I have been in the fitness & yoga industry for 10 years now, can you believe it? This industry is my absolute passion and there’s nothing I love more than learning & creating (other than maybe Taylor Swift LOL). This is why I am so excited to be able to offer a program I designed based off everything I’ve learned over the past 10 years. I believe in strategic approaches to workouts where you can feel good, feel energized and feel empowered. I recognize that everybody has a unique mind & body and is at different stages on their journey, so movement and working out needs to be a unique approach. This means that movements may look different and different options may be best, it’s not a one-sized fits all approach. I also recognize that Personal Training may not be financially accessible to everyone, which is why I’ve created this program that offers options, suggestions and builds on the basic foundations. I love the class style format because it’s fun, motivating and I get to be there with you, pushing through the workouts. At the end of the day I will always remind you to keep showing up for you and make that strong commitment to yourself again and again.   • You will have your own log in & profile for your program. This will allow you to connect any smart devices, track data, schedule your workouts, sync your schedule, have access to 1:1 messaging, access to groups & log in on either the web or a mobile device.

  • Decide when you’d like to start your program (the day you purchase, or perhaps a certain date). You can choose if you’d like to create your own schedule, or together we can plan one for you with my recommendations. It is up to you if you’d like to follow my recommendation OR adjust the schedule to fit you best. The platform allows you to book it into a calendar for tracking purposes, to keep you motivated!

  • Depending on your schedule, you might choose to have all the workouts in a week and then repeat those workouts each week. If you’re doing a few workouts a week, you might have more variety. Repeating workouts is helpful for progression.

    After 4 weeks, you will receive the next phase of your program. The program is 12-weeks long, so in total you will receive 3 phases (3-months). Each phase you receive a brand new set of workouts.

  • Throughout your program it’s completely up to you how much you’d like to use all the platform features, or use none at all.

  • After 3 months (your full program) you have the option to join a brand new 12-week program! You’ll be notified early to determine if you’d like to continue with your workout commitment!

FAQs

    • Dumbbells & a block

    • 1 pair of dumbbells is enough, but it’d be recommend to have 3 different sizes that could be considered “light”, “medium” and “heavy”, to help with progression and different strength throughout the body.

    • There will be exercises where you are down on your knees - depending on your floor & your knees, you might prefer having a knee pad for these exercises.

  • The best part is it all depends on what you’re up for! Choose what will be most realistic for what you can commit to.

    The Part Time option gives you 4 new workouts a month. On the recommended schedule you would complete all 4 workouts within 1 week, and repeat those same workouts for 4 weeks. If your schedule doesn’t allow for this or you’re doing workouts outside of this, you could choose to do just 1 of these workouts per week. I can work with you to create your schedule!

    The Full Time option gives you 10 new workouts per month. The recommended schedule puts movement into your schedule daily and has some variations to doing different workouts within the week.

    You could also choose to do 3-4 workouts a week, with new workouts each week.

    At the end of the day it is up to you, but I will be here as your trainer to help you create your schedule if you’d like to choose a custom schedule outside of the recommended one!

    If you purchase the monthly payment option, then you can cancel at anytime. This means you could purchase your first month and decide to cancel and not go through with month 2 & 3.

    Once a program payment has gone through, it will not be refunded.

  • You can try to make up the workouts on your own time, skip those workouts, or I can extend your program duration if notified.

    If you’re on the monthly payment plan, payments will still come out monthly.

  • Yes! Sydney has pre-recorded these workouts where she teaches it as if it is a class setting. She’s mic’d up, has the music on, is demonstrating the exercises, sharing tips, offering options and motivating you to get through it!

  • The video is filmed in 1080p right from Sydney’s home with professional lighting - it will depend on the quality that your specific device is able to project.

    Sydney is using a professional mic for clear-voice instruction with clear music in the background.

  • Definitely not - I don’t recommend or vouch for diet-culture. I believe that nutrition recommendations should come from a highly-trained dietician or nutritionist if needed and should be individualized.

    I always say the general recommendation of: choose to love food that loves you back - a quote from Dr. Amen, which in order words means to choose to eat foods with nutritious value. I believe doing this will go a long way.

    I also vouch for choosing a goal such as feeling good & feeling better during & after your workouts. I believe this is stronger and works better long-term than working out to change how you physically look.

  • For the Self Guided Programs you are not receiving the pre-recorded live instruction. The self-guided program gives you a list of exercises with links to see a video demonstration. You complete the exercises on your own time. With EMPOWER, you receive a “full class”, where Sydney is guiding you throughout the full workout whether it’s 30 minutes, or 45 minutes, or however long.

    Another main difference is that the Self-Guided Program is custom to you, like Personal Training. EMPOWER is a general program, just as if you were attending a class.
