Savasana is typically someone’s absolute favourite or least favourite part of their yoga practice. You may have experienced this resting pose at the beginning and/or end of a yoga class. Savasana in simple modern terms is a purposeful time to rest, but if you dive into its expanded meaning and apply the philosophical concepts of the yoga sutras to it, you can unlock a gracefully universal experience and tap into deeper places of the mind and body.
